70's room dividers.......

Hi, this is going to be tricky because I don't know what this wall divider installation is called.....that's the question so I can search on the net!

If you ever watch any 70's James Bond films or 'set in the 70's' films, there is always a hotel or bar/lounge scene where there seems to be some sort of funky room/wall divider that you can see through made from wood or metal which is built in, not just a 4-fold screen.

Does anyone know what kind of design element this is called as I'm going crazy here trying to find any info of the web.

Thanks in advance!

Room dividers
by: Charlotte

Hello

I think they might just be called 'room dividers' or 'room divides'

If you want a built in one, you might be better getting a local carpenter or joiner to make one to fit your space exactly. That way, you can easily show them exactly what you have in mind too.

Good luck with your project, hope you find something suitable.
