Bedroom Feng Shui to Sleep Well

bedroom feng shui sleep

  • It is most important for your overall health and happiness that you get a good night’s sleep. I know what a huge difference it makes to your health if you spend hours tossing and turning, and never get a decent night’s sleep.
  • Your bedroom Feng Shui can really help you with this. While you are sleeping, you absorb a lot of energy from around your bedroom.
  • This is absorbed through the crown of your head, so it is very important in bedroom Feng Shui to note which direction this points. And also what is pointing at the crown of your head!
  • Arrange your bed, so that the top of your head points North. This is a very calming energy, and should help you sleep better. It will also help with any health problems.
  • But, if you do need to be very active in the daytime, try to avoid pointing your bed north. It will slow you down too much…!
  • If pointing North is impossible, try West or North-West instead.
  • Arrange your bedroom so that you avoid sharp edges and corners pointing at your bed. If you can’t avoid sharp corners, hang soft fabric in the corner, or disguise it with bushy plants.
  • Fill your bedroom with softness – soft fabrics, carpets, rugs, wall hangings, curtains, cushions, throws etc.
  • Particularly, hang a fabric wall-hanging on the wall behind your bed.
  • A wooden bed frame is ideal, and a four-poster bed will give even more relaxation.
  • Your mattress should be made of natural materials such as cotton or wool. Synthetic materials, or metal springs may make you feel unsettled at night.
  • Go for all natural, pure cotton bed-linen too.
  • Avoid shiny objects and mirrors in your bedroom. If mirrors are difficult to do away with completely, cover them while you sleep, and make sure that they are not pointing directly at your bed.
  • Position your bed so that you can see the door and window easily. But do make sure that you close doors and curtains or blinds at night.
  • Last but not least – make sure you sort out your bedroom and clear out any unnecessary clutter in your room!

If you try these bedroom Feng Shui ideas out, I am sure you will get a good night’s sleep.

Bedroom Feng Shui for a Passionate Relationship

bedroom feng shui passion

If you are sleeping just fine, you can turn your attention to your love life. Your bedroom Feng Shui can help you to bring more passion and sex into your life – can’t be bad, eh...?

  • Once again, the direction that your bed faces, can make a huge difference to your love life:
    • For romance point the head of your bed West.
    • For passion point the head of your bed South.
    • For sex point the head of your bed North.
  • You should position your bed so that it points in one of these directions - even if this means that your bed goes diagonally across the room.
  • If you end up with your heads pointing at a corner, just block the energy with bushy plants, soft fabrics and flowers.
  • Create a soft, comfortable atmosphere in the room – choose a large bed and comfortable chair. Add large cushions and silk sheets.
  • Choose shiny cream and black materials for your bedroom Feng Shui makeover. Include lots of sheer materials, silk and lace.
  • Include plenty of candles in your bedroom – especially red and purple candles – to represent fire and passionate energies
  • Place a pair of orchids close to your bed.
  • Or choose pink flowers in a metal vase, positioned in the west of your room.
  • Look out for paintings, photos or sculptures depicting sexual images. Position these in the west of your bedroom.
  • Hang a crystal in the north of your bedroom.

Bedroom Feng Shui to Spice up your Existing Relationship

bedroom feng shui spice

  • If your existing relationship is great, but grown a bit dull and comfortable, use your bedroom Feng Shui to spice it up a little, and recapture that magic and passion!
  • To bring the passion back, use more yellows, browns, beiges and matt black in your bedroom – on walls and fabrics or accessories.
  • Position your bed so that the head of the bed points South-West.
  • Place a pair of candles in the South-West corner of your room or home. Light them every day.
  • Put some yellow flowers, or a yellow flowering plant, in the South-West corner of your home. Put them in an earthenware vase or pot.
