• You can go for rich, deep golds and deepest green (these mix well with browns too), lime greens, or very pale lemons and greens.
• This is quite a bright, fresh look, even using the paler shades, so if you want to tone it down a little, why not mix pale yellow with a deeper or darker green.
• Try to mix yellow with greens that have a yellow-y tinge already (rather than a blue-y tinge) for the best effects.

Yellow with Blue

A word of warning with yellow - as a strong, warm color, even pale tones of yellow can make the walls of your room seem to 'advance' by a foot, or even more! In many rooms, this is compensate by the brightness the color brings, but do consider this factor when choosing yellow for small rooms.
