My Red Room

I just wanted to tell you about my favourite decorating color scheme. I painted my spare room red. It was quite a bright colour, and I will admit that I was a little nervous about using it - so I thought I would stick to using it in the guest bedroom (where we don't go very often, just in case we didn't like it).

I am so glad I tried it though! Instead of a boring white, that looks like you just haven't bothered, I now have a lovely cosy room. The red is really friendly, and it doesn't feel too dark at all.

I just wanted to let other people know that they should just give bright colours a try. I know that I am going to be using more colours in other rooms of the house now too.
